Out of My Gourd!

Out of My Gourd
When we do the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.    ~Helen Keller~
I took this photo in Mexico a couple of years ago. Going on the belief that they are some type of gourd, I came across some pretty interesting gourd facts.
The best I can tell this type of gourd is called a, Cave Man's Club. I can see the correlation.
Now I'm not out of my gourd, I just want to bring you the most accurate information that I can.
I'm usually off taking photos, of some odd ball kind of object while others are posing, lining up and saying cheese with a beautiful mountain, statue or the like, in the background, to prove their vacation worthy. Not me, I come home with pictures of ants, windows, rusty old cars, etc., etc., etc. I have compiled quite a photo library and have been tempted to push the delete button more than once.
Little did I know that these useless photos would bring such miracles into my life. I get to manipulate the photos and marry them each day with some of the most beautiful and meaningful quotes that mankind has to offer.
Sometimes a few words can make such a difference in the life of another. Quotes, I do believe help us understand volumes in just a few short and meaningful words!
Hmmm! Maybe they are some type of squash or is a gourd a squash or is a gourd just a gourd???? Looks like more research is in order!!!

Gourds are so interesting to me. The textures and shapes and colors are...funny sometimes. I think you do an excellent job of "marrying", as you put it, quotes with your photos. Hope you have a great day!
