Halloween Fun!

Bewitching Hat
Liz Taylor
These two beautiful ladies own their own businesses! Downtown, Fort Myers I visited a jewelry shop and the owner Bonnie was displaying new items, getting ready for Halloween! I adored her hat and asked if she would model for me! Once again thankful that I had my little point and shoot camera with me. She is a wonderful spirit and her beauty truly shines through! Thank you Bonnie!
The second beautiful lady just happens to be my daughter. She sent me this photo yesterday via her cell phone. Wish I had been back in Massachusetts with my big Canon. I thought her so beautiful, I doctored the photo up some with a texture and black and white effects. She did her own makeup for that Liz Taylor Look! Love those eyebrows!
Thank You ladies and Happy Halloween Everyone!

She's A Lady!!!

Lady Fish
"Well she's all you'd ever want,
She's the kind they'd like to flaunt and take to dinner.
Well she always knows her place.
She's got style, she's got grace, She's a winner.
She's a Lady. Whoa whoa whoa, She's a Lady."
~Tom Jones~
Sometimes a girl just has to have fun! Yes, yes that would be me! I painted this fun Lady Fish in the last couple of days and I must say I love her personality!
She's pretty FUN-ky. Shy would not be a way to describe her!
She is painted in acrylic and is 20" X 24".
I have an Etsy account, which I have never used, maybe she will just have to swim on over there.
Enjoy!!!

A Howling Halloween Parade!

Geisha Girls...so cute and proper!
Ahoy Matey...fix that patch...will ya!
Basset Lounge....those short cat naps take away the edge!
Later Gator...my bark is bigger than my bite!
Peter Pan & Tinkerbell...ready to fly!
Perky Cheerleaders...sis boom bah!
After dropping some friends off at the airport we decided to have dinner at a small local mall. We could hear a great deal of barking but had no idea why??? As we turned the corner we were greeted by hundreds of people parading their dogs all dressed in costume, each waiting their turn on a center stage!
Once again, so glad to have had my little point and shoot camera for those unexpected moments!
Most were uncomfortable in costume, but somehow endured with the aroma of doggy treats being shared! It was a feast for the eyes and so much fun!
I captured just a few! Enjoy!

Almost Forgotten!

Twilight, Neptune Beach, Florida
"Boredom is the feeling that everything is a waste of time; serenity, that nothing is."
~Thomas Szasz~

Amazing what you can find when your not looking! I was downloading photos from my point and shoot camera, when I came across some captures that I had taken on our journey home to Florida.

Totally forgotten and a pleasant surprise, my senses were rekindled into instant recollection of the event.
We had enjoyed a great dinner, a glass of merlot, then decided to visit the beach before retiring for the evening!

It was about 7:30 PM, the ocean commanded one's attention, the atmosphere assaulted by a heavy and looming  humidity.
The wind was wild and spirited, only several brave souls graced the seascape. Waves somewhat disjointed pounded the shore in a thunderous and deafening manner. There was no time for thought, only to experience the attack on the senses that Mother Nature with all her glory and strength had to offer.

I snapped a half dozen photos, we decided regretfully not to walk the beach and enjoy the fury from our  balcony!  As serene as this photo may seem the physical experience quite different and exhilarating!
Never a boring moment as long as my camera is in hand and a supportive husband by my side!
Have a wonderful day!
