Van Gogh or a Cezanne?

A Little Van Gogh Anyone?
"I experience a period of frightening clarity in those moments when nature is so beautiful.
I am no longer sure of myself, and the paintings appear as in a dream."~Vincent Van Gogh~
This photo was captured yesterday in Bristol Rhode at Colt State Park. The original photo was very pretty, however, it has been my goal to turn every photo I publish into a work of art, whenever I possibly can.
Can you only imagine my delight when I found this new App called, Auto Painter Express. Several clicks and one can turn any photo into a Van Gogh or a Cezanne, in just a few minutes. YIKES!
I feel as though I am cheating on Photoshop, but am allowing myself the freedom to try something fun and new, almost way too easy!
Vincent, I have admired your work from afar for so many years and now the ability to turn a photograph, that I have taken into your style is a feat beyond my wildest dreams.
Can't wait to see what Mr. Van Gogh and I come up with next or maybe a Cezanne.
Love his work too!
Have an enjoyable and creative day!

Can you believe this? This has been on my mind lately; converting a photo to a painting. Thank you for sharing. It's beautiful and I know what you mean about cheating...legally.

Not fair.
There was me doing a Van Gogh in actual oil on canvas with palette knife :-)
Do some purple Irises, will you? or Sunflowers. I'd love to see that.
You show me yours and I'll show you mine. Which still hangs in my husband's study. I've tried to chuck it many times be he won't let me.

This is beautiful Rosemary!
I have been cheating on Photoshop a bit lately too with an iPad app called Snapseed.

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful day!

Amazing the kind of editing that can be done with photography! I hope you'll try Cezanne next. I'm a huge fan of the Impressionist Era. :)
