Tarpon Frenzy!

Tarpon
"There is certainly something in angling that tends to produce a serenity of the mind."~Washington Irving~These photos were taken at Robbie's Marina, Islamorada, Florida, a very touristy place where one can view and feed tarpon. We last visited Robbie's 25 years ago when my husband turned 40, it was only fitting we returned for his 65th birthday. Will, caught his first hundred plus tarpon 25 years ago while on a fishing charter, he caught a hundred plus tarpon this week in Key West, Florida. He and his buddy John, had a great time although weather conditions were not at their best. How many has he caught in between remains a mystery but each time is a very exciting event for him, fishing his passion. Catching tarpon with my camera and almost anything Mother Nature has to offer, my passion! We had a wonderful time and being with great friends made our visit a memorable experience, can't wait to return!
