Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory
I added a dash of HDR to the recipe to create a more tasteful and sophisticated palette of color for the discerning viewer.
The truth of the matter is that some photos were a little blurry due to the fluttering nature of the erratic butterfly.
The HDR has somehow helped the blurries to create a more pleasing and dramatic result.
Really could not make up my mind which photos to publish so I published all of my favorites!
I hope viewing these photos has given you a few peaceful and magical moments, a transmogrification so to speak!
Seek out a butterfly garden and experience just a bit of Heaven. |

Beautiful breathtaking photos! We visited a butterfly farm on Grand Cayman. It was a small establishment, but so lovely. Your pictures remind me of it. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
Amazing variety and color, Rosemary! So beautiful.
Butterfly paradise!
Oh my goodness Rosemary, a photographer's paradise, and each of these is just beautiful!
Your photos are just exquisite!
may your generous beauty of butterflies encourage more planting of milkweed and butterfly bushes!
i will fix a plate with colour fruit slices for the butterflies because of you!
These images thrill me -- the colors and patterns in butterfly wings are totally astounding. I don't often see them anymore where I live, but when I do, I feel like I've just been kissed by magic.
Man, you got quite a variety there! I'm going to have to remember to put fruit out for these guys. They really seem to love it!
absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for the butterfly joy.
Happy Thursday !
Rosemary,
Your macros of the butterflies are gorgeous! So colorful...isn't it wonderful? God could have left us in a black and white world.

I could not decide if these were painting or photographs. Absolutely beautiful.

Hi Rosemary, So glad that you stopped by. My things are colorful here on your blog. Butterflies are the most beautiful insects aren't they? Your pictures are terrific. Have a great weekend!
Gorgeous shots of these beautiful butterflies.
Love this post -- I try to plant butterfly attracting plants, but I just don't see that many of them (butterflies, not plants). This was a delight and a great way to start my day before rushing off for the 4th 9-hour day of mediator training.
I'm speechless!!! These pictures are just exquisite!! My best wishes!! Cathy
