Westport Point, Westport, Massachusetts |
Westport River, East Branch View, Ship's Rock, right. We use to live round the bend up river a piece! |
Westport Point, view two. Can you smell the salty air? |
Westport River Bridge, view from Westport Point (Normand Edward Fontaine Bridge) I have crossed this bridge many times in my life with town beaches as our usual destination. Many summers were enjoyed here as my children and I loved those long and lazy beach days. The bridge with it's beautiful views signified that our destination was always close at hand. My camera and recent passion for photography beckoned me to stop and capture it's magnificence! This is about as New England as you can get folks! Enjoy! Weekly Top Shot |

and you did Rosemary capture such beautiful scenery; I'd love to be there with my camera also. I admire so much your fantastic artwork, what a joy and talent ...and soul-absorbing hobby. Well done!
It is a gorgeous scene, your images look almost like watercolors! Thanks for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #47!
Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog...our power has returned (along with that of about 2,000 other folk in the area) and the internet seems to be settling down.
I love your photos, the first one in particular...I've so much admiration for those who have the artistic touch with photos rather than my rather cavalier approach, lol.
Your newest follower...
nice shots of a gorgeous place.
Rosemary, thank you for your visit today. I will do my best to enjoy our glamping weekend ;o) Your photos are lovely. I wish I had your photography skills, and I hope to learn more about photography once I retire in ten years.
How is Max doing? I have a Boxer, and her name is Kiki. I remember when you posted about Max. Nice to reconnect!
I really like your processing. Your photos have that vintage, postcard look to them!
From one New Englander to another, you're absolutely right. It doesn't get more NE than this and it doesn't get much better either.
