A Masterpiece in Motion

I can only imagine the frenzy of a true maestro trying to mix the colors, on his sophisticated pallet to capture the magnificence of the flamingo and do it justice. Shade upon shade, strokes long and short, a masterful manipulation of paint by his skilled and artful hands. 

Many have tried and many have succeeded but to watch them in motion, is a canvas painted in the museum of the mind.

This photo was taken at the San Diego Zoo, in San Diego, California. Reviewing my photos of that day I came upon this powerful shot. The thing I love most about photography is that it brings me back to that museum of the minds eye, anytime I wish!
